Retirement Is In Sight Now That TSA Employee Has Won $100K On Scratch-off Lottery Ticket
A TSA employee from District Heights can now retirement earlier than planned thanks to a $100K winning lottery ticket.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 64-year-old District Heights resident who grew up with a lottery-loving uncle credits him with her recent good luck. The woman tried a Mega 7s scratch ticket and netted $100,000.
The woman shared with lottery officials that her uncle convinced her to drive to another state just to buy instant tickets because that specific retailer had "good scratch 'ems." So far, the winner has only shared her good news with her husband and a few family members. The Transportation Security Administration employee, who said she plans to retire soon, will use her prize to pay bills and debts. She wants to get all of those out of the way so that she and her husband can relax in retirement.
The lucky retailer that sold the District Heights resident the winning ticket, Dodge City Market in District Heights, will receive a $1,000 bonus from the lottery.
