18-Year-Old Student Takes Gun To Non-Traditional Program North: Police
An 18-year-old from Hyattsville took a gun to school, which was recovered by security officers who then notified Prince George's Police.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A student attended the Non-Traditional Program North school in the unincorporated area of Bowie took a loaded gun onto school property Friday afternoon.
School security personnel alerted the Prince George's County Police Department to the situation. Security officers recovered the handgun from the teen's waistband, according to the police department.
Onterrio Wilkinson of Hyattsville will be charged with handgun on person, dangerous weapon on school property, loaded handgun on person and additional charges, according to the police department.
