$1M Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In PG County To Expire Soon

The Powerball ticket is the largest of several high-value tickets sold in Maryland that remain unclaimed as of Thursday.

CLINTON, MD — A winning Powerball ticket worth $1 million will expire soon unless the lucky winner comes forward to claim their prize, Maryland Lottery officials said Thursday.

The big ticket sold at Chesapeake Liquors at 8853 Branch Avenue from the Sept. 13, 2025, Powerball drawing will expire on March 15, lottery officials said. The winning ticket matched all five white balls, but not the Powerball, making it a second-tier $1 million winner.

The winning numbers for the Sept. 13 drawing were white balls 28, 37, 42, 50 and 53. The red Powerball was 19.
