2 Motorcyclists Killed In Separate Cases After Crashing Into Car, Hitting Person: Police
Two motorcyclists were killed in separate incidents after one crashed into the back of a car and another hit a pedestrian, police say.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — With warmer weather upon us, more motorcycles are taking to the highways. Last week, two motorcyclists were killed in back-to-back crashes in Prince George's County.
On Wednesday about 8:45 p.m., 26-year-old Josue Delgado Delgado of Hyattsville hit the back of a car in the eastbound lanes of Annapolis Road in Landover Hills. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Thursday around 12:10 p.m.,. 57-year-old Reginald Thornes of Capitol Heights was heading eastbound on Central Avenue in Seat Pleasant when he hit a pedestrian who was crossing the road. Thornes was taken to a hospital where he later died. The pedestrian also suffered serious injuries.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the majority of multi-vehicle motorcycle crashes typically happen when other drivers don't see the motorcyclist.
