$25K Reward Offered In Fatal Shooting Of Temple Hills Motorcyclist: Prince George's Police
A $25K reward has been offered in the fatal shooting of a Temple Hills motorcyclist. The man died 10 days after the shooting, police say.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 48-year-old Temple Hills man has died of his injuries after police found him by his wrecked motorcycle in Suitland with gunshot wounds. A reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On Sept. 2 around 7:40 p.m., patrol officers responded to Branch Avenue and St. Barnabas Road for a report of a crash involving a motorcycle. Officers found Brian Akinfe in the roadway unresponsive near his motorcycle. While administering aid, first responders saw that the victim had been shot. He was taken to a hospital where he died of his injuries on Sept. 12.
