$25K Reward Offered for Tips in Temple Hills Homicide

Prince George's County Police say a 52-year-old Temple Hills man was fatally shot Thursday.

TEMPLE HILLS, MD — A $25,000 reward is being offered for tips that lead to an arrest in the shooting death of a Temple Hills man, says Prince George's County Police.

About 11 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to the 2500 block of Southern Avenue for the report of a shooting. Police found George Barnes, 52, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital, where he died several hours later.

Detectives are working to identify a motive for the shooting and suspect(s).
