$25K Reward Posted for Leads in Clinton Homicide

CLINTON, MD — A $25,000 reward is being offered for tips that lead to an arrest and charges in Thursday's fatal shooting of Kevin Maurice Washington Jr., 23, of Alan Drive in Clinton.

Prince George's County Police do not believe the shooting was a random crime. Officers were called to the 5700 block of Alan Drive for a shooting about 9:30 p.m. Washington was found in his bedroom suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigators say someone shot Washington through a window and then fled the area. Detectives are working to identify a motive.
