3 Men Arrested In Connection To Multiple Armed Robberies Across The County: Police
One man has been arrested in connection to a commercial armed robbery while 2 men face charges in connection to multiple armed robberies.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Three men have been arrested in connection to two separate incidents of armed robberies.
Prince George’s County Police have arrested 34-year-old Derek Lynn Davis of Temple Hills in connection to one commercial armed robbery. A preliminary investigation showed Davis robbed a convenience store in the 7400 block of Central Avenue in Capitol Heights on July 16, according to the police department.
Prince George’s County Police patrol officers have arrested two men linked to multiple armed robberies of businesses located across the county. The suspects have been identified as 18-year-old Hevander Maradiadi Lozano of District Heights and 19-year-old Christian Garcia Carranza of District Heights.

On Aug. 16 at approximately 1:20 a.m., officers responded to the 4800 block of Silver Hill Road for the report of an armed robbery at a fast food restaurant. Within 1.5 hours of that call, two additional calls were received for two additional armed robberies at fast food restaurants in the 8700 block of Central Avenue and the 6100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway.
Within 10 minutes of the third reported robbery, patrol officers saw the suspects’ vehicle driving in the area of Marlboro Pike and Forestville Road. After a pursuit, the suspects' vehicle stopped in the 7600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue and both suspects were taken into custody. A preliminary investigation showed the suspects have been linked to a fourth armed robbery at a fast food restaurant in the 3500 block of Branch Avenue carried out on Aug. 13, according to the police department.
