3 Teens, 18-Year-Old Carjack Vehicle, Officers Chase Them Down: Prince George's Police
Three teens and an 18-year-old carjacked a vehicle by gunpoint, then led police on a chase before bailing out of the vehicle.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Three teens and an 18-year-old man have been charged in connection to an armed carjacking that happened Wednesday.
On April 5 at about 6:10 p.m., a victim called 911 to report that he had been carjacked at gunpoint in the 8000 block of James Street in Upper Marlboro. At 9:15 p.m., officers saw the carjacked vehicle not far from the crime scene and attempted to stop the driver who refused to stop. Officers chased the vehicle, which eventually stopped on Suitland Parkway, according to the Prince George's County Police Department.
The four people in the vehicle took off and police officers, K9 officers and the Guardian helicopter searched for them. They found three 15-year-old teen boys and an 18-year-old who were taken into custody. A handgun was found nearby, according to the police department.

One of the 15-year-old suspects has been charged with armed carjacking. The remaining three suspects, including 18-year-old Zaquan Graham of Landover, have been charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle and handgun related offenses. One juvenile is from Washington, D.C., and the other two are from Upper Marlboro.
