67-Year-Old Clinton Driver Killed After Crashing Into Tree: Prince George's Police

A 67-year-old driver from Clinton was killed when he crashed into a tree making a left turn, according to Prince George's Police.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 67-year-old Clinton man died Sunday in a single-vehicle collision in the area of Raintree Way and Goblet Way.

The incident happened around 8:30 a.m. Aug. 6. When Prince George's County police officers arrived on the scene, they found John Lee Perry unresponsive. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

A preliminary investigation showed Perry was attempting to make a left turn when his vehicle left the road and hit a tree. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
