77-Year-Old Suitland Woman Fatally Hit By Car While Crossing The Road: Police

A 77-year-old Suitland woman was fatally hit by a car while crossing the road in Suitland, according to Prince George's Police.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 77-year-old Suitland woman was fatally hit April 20 shortly after 3 p.m.

Sally McCoy was attempting to cross Suitland Road in the 6500 block of Morningside when she was hit by a vehicle. She was pronounced dead on the scene, according to the Prince George's Police Department.

The driver stayed on the scene and was taken to the hospital for treatment of her injuries, which were not life-threatening.
