Prince George's County Executive Angela Alsobrooks announced Thursday that the county was on track to reopen on June 1.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — County Executive Angela Alsobrooks said Thursday Prince George's County was on track for a modified reopening June 1, according to news reports.
“After reviewing recent data, we are cautiously moving toward a modified phase one reopening by June 1,” Alsobrooks said, according to WTOP's reporting. “While the data has improved, we are not out of the woods yet. I urge all Prince Georgians to exercise caution, use good judgment and observe the stay-at-home order this holiday weekend so that we can stay on track to begin reopening by our target date.”
The reopening would happen if data tracking coronavirus trends continued to improve for the county.
