Angela Alsobrooks Campaign Sign Defaced With Hate Symbols
Prince George's County police are investigating after a campaign sign for U.S. Senate candidate Angela Alsobrooks was vandalized in Laurel.

LAUREL, MD — Authorities are investigating after a campaign sign featuring Maryland Democratic Senate nominee and Prince George's County Executive Angela Alsobrooks was vandalized with hateful imagery, according to multiple reports.
Video of the sign shared by FOX 5 DC showed the letters "KKK" written on the sign and crosshairs drawn on Alsobrooks' forehead.
When contacted by The Washington Post, Prince George’s County Police Department public information officer Brian Fischer confirmed police are investigating the incident.

Alsobrooks is running for U.S. Senate against former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan in a race that could determine which party holds the majority.
Hogan, a Republican, condemned the messages in a social media post.

"Hate, threats of violence, and racism must be condemned in the strongest possible terms. They have no place in Maryland," Hogan wrote on X.
In a statement sent to FOX 5 DC, a spokesperson for Alsobrooks' campaign said the threat "will not deter Angela or her campaign."
"We were made aware of this very unsettling incident, and our paramount concern is Angela’s safety," spokesperson Gina Ford said in the statement.
