Armed Suitland Man Driving Stolen Vehicle Arrested: Prince George's Police
A Suitland man has been arrested and faces several charges after police stopped him while driving a stolen vehicle.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 27-year-old Suitland man has been arrested after Prince George's County police officers found him driving a stolen Hyundai.
Tuesday at approximately 11:30 a.m., officers saw the Hyundai that had been reported stolen Feb. 4. Officers stopped the vehicle in the area of Silver Hill Road and Suitland Road. Handy, the only occupant, was taken into custody. A loaded gun was recovered in his waistband, according to the Prince George's Police.
Handy faces multiple charges including theft, unlawful taking of a vehicle and several handgun related charges.
