Attic Fire Damages Two-Story Brick-Front Bowie Home: Fire Official

A fire broke out in the attic of a brick-front Bowie home Monday. Additional firefighters were called to the scene to help battle the blaze.

According to the Prince George's County Fire Department, the fire appeared to have started in the attic. No injuries were reported and investigators were on the scene.

BOWIE, MD — A two-story single family home in the 14800 block of Bowie Farm Court caught fire Monday and required additional firefighters to battle the blaze.

The fire broke out around 5:45 p.m. When Prince George's firefighters arrived on the scene, they upgraded the incident to a "fire task force" and summoned more firefighters to help.

According to the Prince George's County Fire Department, the fire appeared to have started in the attic. No injuries were reported and investigators were on the scene.
