Big Lots Now Open In Bowie

Big savings are heading to Bowie with the grand opening of Big Lots in the Bowie Gateway Center.

As part of their grand opening celebration, being held Friday, April 27 at 9 a.m., Big Lots will make a $2,500 donation to Heather Hills Elementary School.

The general merchandise store sells products ranging from electronics, toys, furniture, home decor, and seasonal goods at discount prices.

“For more than forty years, Big Lots customers have relied on us to bring them a one-of-a-kind shopping experience filled with brand name merchandise at a price they can appreciate. We are thrilled to now be able to offer that same great value and convenience to Bowie shoppers,” said Rob Claxton, senior vice president of marketing for Big Lots. “We are confident this new store will prove to be a big hit with smart shoppers who are seeking better deals and bigger savings to combat the increasing costs of everyday living.”

The new Big Lots is located in the Bowie Gateway Center at 4220 Mitchelville Road. Hours will be Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
