Bowie HS Put Into Lockdown After Bomb Threat, Report Of Student With Rifle: Police
Bowie High School went into lockdown Monday after receiving a report of a bomb at school and a student had a rifle, police disclosed.
BOWIE, MD — A lockdown at Bowie High School was enforced Monday but the threat was determined to not be credible.
Around 1:45 p.m. Sept. 18, a call came in to the police department claiming there was a bomb at the school and that someone had a rifle, according to the Bowie Police Department. The school went into lockdown while police investigated.
Bowie Police disclosed that no devices were found, the threat was not credible and the lockdown was lifted.
