A woman jogging in Bowie was harassed by a man before he exposed himself to her.

A Bowie man was arrested earlier this month after following and harassing a female jogger, at one point allegedly exposing himself to her, according to reports from police.

Around 8:10 p.m. on August 2, Bowie Police were called to the 500 block of Jennings Mill Drive after a man from the neighborhood, 22-year-old Brad Duane Roache, harassed a 20-year-old woman from Bowie as she was jogging.

When police arrived, the woman was quickly walking down the street and flagged officers down, pointing them to Roacheβ€”who matched the description given at the time they were dispatchedβ€”and detained him.

The woman told police that as she was jogging, Roache began following her and made several comments to her that made her feel unsafe and uncomfortable.

She said at one point she stopped jogging, at which point Roache showed her his genitals, from a distance. He was charged with indecent exposure with a court date set for October 17, according to online court records.
