Bowie Market Update - April 2014

There are currently 466 properties in Bowie, MD that are in some stage of foreclosure (default, auction or bank owned) while the number of homes listed for sale is 165. 

In March, the number of properties that received a foreclosure filing in Bowie, MD was 23% higher than the previous month and 197% higher than the same time last year. 

Home sales for February 2014 were down 25% compared with the previous month, and down 15%compared with a year ago. The median sales price of a non-distressed home was $273,435. The median sales price of a foreclosure home was $225,000, or 18% lower than non-distressed home sales.
