Bowie Resident Wins New Car

As part of a grand opening celebration, the Nissan of Bowie dealership gave away a new car to a local resident on Saturday.

Rinaldi Jachja of Bowie was the randomly chosen winner of a 2012 Nissan Versa sedan, which was presented during the event. The dealership, which is located at 2200 Crain Highway, opened on Feb. 17.

"We are very pleased to be able to do this and give back to the community," wrote Ted Neale, general manager, in an email. "The winner is indeed a local Bowie resident as it turns out and we would like to get the word out that he will be taking delivery this Saturday."

Neale added that the dealership will be hosting more promotions.

"We are open and want to meet our neighbors," he said in the email.
