Bringing the Ballet to Bowie with Storybook Theatre
The Ballet Theatre of Maryland will be holding a special performance at the Bowie Center for the Performing Arts this weekend.
A magical dance event is scheduled for this Saturday at where everyone who appreciates the art of ballet can enjoy an extraordinary performance presented by Maryland's premier professional dance company—Ballet Theatre of Maryland under the direction of Dianna Cuatto, now in her ninth season as BTM artistic director.
In a weekend interview, Cuatto said, “This is the third year that Ballet Theatre of Maryland has collaborated with the City of Bowie through a generous grant from the City of Bowie.
"We are thrilled to work with the City of Bowie staff and the Bowie Center theater staff and the supportive crew, who are all absolutely wonderful to deal with. We're looking forward to appearing before the very appreciative Bowie audience.”

Having attended a BTM performance at Bowie Center two seasons back, I can add that I've seldom been surrounded by savvier dance enthusiasts.
What I heard then was their only regret that the event hadn't been better publicized to increase audience numbers, which motivates me to spread the good news here.
