CRISFIELD — For the first time in its history, the National Old Catholic Church has an opportunity to secure a permanent home at 39 W Main St.
I’m Bishop Daniel Mckenney, and our congregation has worshipped without a building of our own for years. The church at 39 W Main has sat mostly unused. We believe it can ring bells again — not just for Sunday service, but as a space for community meals, support groups, and life events for all of Crisfield.

National Old Catholic Church Hopes to Restore 39 W Main St as Community Home

Cindy Freland will host and produce a monthly cable tv show, Chesapeake Bay Adventures. This is a children's show with guests including authors, performers, and experts offering their skills and information about the animals of the Chesapeake Bay. Watch this fun and educational show daily at 4pm on channels 11 on Verizon and 77 on Comcast and YouTube. Please watch, like, comment, and share. Our first guest was Scott McBride, author of the Connor the Cutter, series on March 26, 2026. Each month the show will feature a different theme, for example blue crabs, that covers the animals of the Chesapeake Bay, the Bay, and the bridge.
