Calling All Student Singers in Bowie

Students looking to put their singing talent to use can join either the Bowie Youth Chorus or the "Summit Singers" performance group.

The Bowie Youth Chorus for fifth- through eighth-graders does not require students to audition. The chorus will rehearse Thursday afternoons from 5:30 to 7 p.m at the Kenhill Center.

Auditions for the "Summit Singers," a high school chorus, will take place Feb. 2 and 9 at the Kenhill Center at 7:30 p.m.

Both programs will start on Feb. 9 and run through early June. The registration fee is $50 for Bowie residents and $55 for youth who attend local schools but are not Bowie residents.
