Carjacking Suspect Arrested While Driving Vehicle: Prince George's Police
A Washington, D.C., man has been charged after police found him driving a carjacked vehicle in College Park.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 20-year-old Washington, D.C. man has been charged in connection to a carjacking in College Park April 19 at about 2:30 p.m.
Prince George's County police officers saw the carjacked vehicle along Towne Park Boulevard in Suitland. It had been carjacked at gunpoint at approximately 1 a.m. in the 7400 block of Baltimore Avenue in College Park Tuesday. Officers stopped the car and arrested Juwon Anderson who was the only occupant. A loaded handgun was recovered in the vehicle, according to the police department.
Anderson has been charged with the unauthorized use of a vehicle and firearm offenses.
