Carjacking Suspect Spied In Stolen Vehicle, Arrested: Prince George's Police
A carjacking suspect from District Heights was found with the vehicle that had been stolen. Police arrested the man who now faces charges.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 27-year-old District Heights man has been arrested after police found him in possession of a car that had been carjacked in the Riverdale area.
On Feb. 2 at approximately 4 pm, detectives saw the carjacked vehicle in the 5000 block of Silver Hill Court in District Heights and stopped it. The vehicle had been carjacked at gunpoint on Jan. 17 in the 800 block of Rittenhouse Street. Detectives took Hagans into custody and found a loaded handgun in his coat, according to the Prince George's County Police Department.
The carjacking interdiction unit has charged Hagans with auto theft and firearms offenses.
