Celebrate Black History Month With Live, Virtual Events In Prince George's
The city of Laurel offers a multitude of ways to recognize Black History Month both online and in person.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD β The city of Laurel has put together a program to honor and celebrate the triumphs of African Americans. This yearβs program will pay tribute to the achievements of Black women.
The public is invited to the music-filled event at the Laurel Municipal Center on Sunday at 3 p.m. Local students will help you test people's knowledge of Black history in a fun, oratory way. The program will also be broadcast live on Laurel TV, Comcast 996 and 71, or Verizon Channel 12. Catch a LIVE Stream on the city of Laurel's Facebook page or at www.laureltv.org.
