Child Injured During Shooting On Baltimore-Washington Parkway: Police
A child was injured by debris sparked by a shooting between two cars that unfolded Tuesday afternoon along Baltimore-Washington Parkway.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A child was injured after being hit by debris spurred by a shooting that unfolded between two vehicles driving down the Baltimore-Washington Parkway in Prince George's County Tuesday afternoon, according to Prince George's County Police.
The shooting, which closed a section of the southbound lanes of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway for several hours, happened where 295 and 50 split. The shooting occurred around 1:45 p.m., the police department noted.
The child suffered non-life-threatening injuries. A third vehicle also was hit by a bullet. Police are investigating the incident.
