Volunteer Opportunity - Cancer Nonprofit

Hi neighbors! 💜

A few years ago, I began a journey to create a nonprofit dedicated to supporting cancer patients here in Prince George’s County. It’s been a long and meaningful road, and I’m excited to share that we are getting very close to launching our services.

As many know, the cancer journey requires far more than medical treatment. True healing and thriving also depend on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual support. Our mission is to provide wellness services that help individuals navigate life during and after a cancer diagnosis.

We’re currently looking for support from our community:

✨ Pro bono instructors
We are seeking a few additional volunteers to lead yoga and meditation sessions. If you—or someone you know—might be interested, we would love to connect.

✨ Board Members
We are also expanding our Board of Directors and seeking passionate individuals who want to make a meaningful impact. Current needs include:
• A Treasurer with a nonprofit accounting background
• Board members with experience in social media, fundraising, donor relations, sponsorships, or grants
