Did you grow up in Bowie and find yourself still living at home or have recently moved back because of parental issues (health, aging, financial), your own financial issues, divorce, illness, for the hell of it, nostalgia.... Looking to interview those of you who can relate to any of the aforementioned situations for documentary project. Whether your situation is comical or a total bummer (the two are interchangeable), we want to hear your story.
These interviews will be filmed (just audio is kinda boring....unless you have Tourette's, a major Maryland accent, a severe GI disorder which causes a lot of burping or at least a stutter) and you will be compensated with nothing monetarily. We are just starting this project. But who knows..... We will at least serve you food and drink.
This is non-political....if you need to go there, fine but the purpose of this is to find people of all kinds and mindsets but with the common denominator being 20715. If you remember what a common denominator is or at least remember hearing that term, you're just what we're looking for.
We are limiting this to Levitt Bowie (F, T, K, S sections, etc), some adjacent areas (Northview) and Old Bowie. No newer developments preferably. Focus on Gen-X aged and some boomers (as long as your focus isn't completely negative).
None of your footage will be shared with others until you have approved it and the project takes shape. This is not meant to be exploitative.... More of a time capsule. And a chance to spill your guts for free!
