Critically Injured 6-Year-Old, Man Shot At Prince George's Home: Police
Police do not believe the shooting was random but that the little girl was not an intended target.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 6-year-old girl and a man were hit by gunfire Monday night in Fort Washington shortly before 9 p.m. and were hospitalized in critical condition.
Prince George's County police officers received a 911 call about two gunshot victims who were being driven to a hospital. The preliminary investigation revealed that the girl and the man had been shot at a home in the 2000 block of Frontier Court.
Detectives do not believe this was a random shooting; however, the young girl was not an intended target, according to a police report.
