DC Man Dies In Car Crash, Prince George's Police Investigating
A Washington, D.C., man died in a two-vehicle crash last week. The incident remains under investigation by the Prince George's Police Dept.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A fatal crash that unfolded last week remains under investigation.
Lorenzo Sanders Sr., 58, of Washington D.C. was killed in the Jan. 18 accident that happened around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Addison Road South and Wilburn Drive. A preliminary investigation shows Sanders was traveling southbound on Addison Road South when his car crossed the double yellow centerline into the northbound lanes and struck a van. Sanders was pronounced dead on the scene. The second involved driver suffered what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Prince George's County Police Department.
