DC Man Killed In Prince George's County Car Crash: Police

The 65-year-old man was killed when his car was struck by an SUV near Suitland, police said.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A Washington, D.C. man was killed Thursday night in a car crash near Suitland, according to Prince George's County police.

In a statement released Saturday, police said Maurice A. Berry, 65, was driving on Pennsylvania Avenue shortly before 10:30 p.m. For unknown reasons, police said he made a left turn onto Spaulding Avenue and was struck by an SUV.

Berry was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries.
