Deputy's Car Ends Up Vertical After Crash: PHOTO

A Prince George's County Sheriff's car involved in an accident Monday came to rest on its grille against a light pole.

The photo of a Prince George’s County Sheriff’s office patrol car in a crash looked worse than the crash itself, luckily.

Prince George’s County Police say a deputy was responding to a call for a fight in progress about 9 p.m. Monday. At the intersection of Garret A. Morgan Boulevard and Central Avenue, the deputy’s cruiser struck an SUV before hitting a pole, and come to a stop nearly vertical against the pole.

The deputy was taken to the hospital as a precaution; no other injuries were reported, according to WJLA TV.

No information was released about the deputy involved in the accident, the other driver or if any charges were filed.
