Do You Have $2M Powerball Ticket?
A Laurel store sold a ticket worth $2 million in Saturday's Powerball game. The owner has yet to claim the prize, says the Maryland Lottery

A Powerball ticket worth $2 million was sold for the Aug. 9 drawing at Laurel Lakes Liquors in Laurel, according to the Maryland Lottery website, but the owner has yet to claim the prize.
This is the second big prize sold at the Laurel liquor store within the past month, following a $1 million Lucky Millionaire scratch-off win claimed by a D.C. metro worker in June.
The ticket sold for Saturday’s drawing matched all five white balls, missing only the Power Ball number. The winning numbers are 03, 12, 31, 34, 51 and Power Ball 24.

This is the tenth second-tier Powerball win in Maryland this year and the first second-tier with the Power Play option selected. The July 16 second-tier winning ticket bought at Tucker’s Liquors in Clinton remains unclaimed.
For selling the ticket, the retailer receives a $2,500 bonus. The winner has 182 days to claim the prize in person at Lottery headquarters, located at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.
