PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — As burning hot flames burst through the roof of a residence on fire in the unit block of Harry S. Truman Drive in Largo Monday night, smoke filled the home and rolled outside.

Prince George's County firefighters battled the blaze and while trying to control the fire and minimize damage, they found a family dog desperately in need of oxygen after inhaling too much smoke.
