Dr. Juliet Agocha on Fatal Aircraft Crash in Bowie

Dr. Juliet Agocha, Democratic candidate for Prince George’s County Council District 4, expressed her profound sadness following the tragic aircraft crash near Scarlet Oak in Bowie, off Annapolis Road.

After visiting the scene and receiving confirmation from Officer Binder that three lives were lost, Dr. Agocha extended her heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families and loved one

“My heart is heavy today,” said Dr. Agocha. “This is a devastating loss for our community. As a mother, neighbor, and community advocate, I cannot imagine the pain these families are experiencing. My prayers are with them, the first responders, and everyone affected by this tragedy

Dr. Juliet Agocha thanked the police officers, firefighters, emergency personnel, and all those working diligently at the scene. She also asked residents to give law enforcement the time and space needed to complete their investigation and notify family member

“In moments like these, politics takes a back seat to humanity,” she said. “We are one community, and we grieve together. Let us support one another, lift these families in prayer, and show the compassion that makes Bowie such a special place to call home
