Driver, 70, Killed After Car Crashes Into Road Signs, Fence: Prince George's Police

A 70-year-old Clinton man died after his car left the road and crashed into several roadway signs and a fence, police say.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 70-year-old man from Clinton died in a single-vehicle car crash Sunday at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Officers responded to the 9400 block of Piscataway Road for the collision. The preliminary investigation shows that Michael Grigsby was driving a car that was traveling northbound on Piscataway Road. For reasons that are under investigation, the car left the roadway striking multiple roadway signs, a fence and then ultimately came to rest in the southbound lanes. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
