Bowie Community Theatre presents Language of Angels, directed by Terry Averill. This Naomi Iizuka-penned drama blends together three ghost stories set in rural North Carolina, depicting the lives of working-class youth bound by poverty and pushed to the limits of friendship as they deal with grief and loss. Performances on July 22, 23, 29 and 30, and August 5 and 6, will begin at 8 p.m.; matinees on July 24 and 31 will be at 2 p.m. Opening night proceeds will be donated to Global Giving for Japan relief.
