The Miss Guinee North America Scholarship Pageant is an intellectual and cultural showcase of African and Guinean heritage, and serves to promote academic excellence among young, talented women from Guinea. Part of the proceeds from the pageant will be used to help fund projects that are in progress with NIMBA Entertainment Inc., the event's producer. There will be special performances by D.T.M., Sabere Soumano and Balafon Dance Ensemble. Ticket sales open at 6 p.m.; seating begins at 6:30 p.m.; show starts at 7 p.m. The purchase of each ticket will come with a free, autographed CD of D.T.M.'s new album.
