Dr. David A. Hatch, NSA Historian, will present on the little-explored history of Native American Code Talkers who served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Their primary task was the transmission of secret military messages using codes built upon their native languages, which was crucial to front-line operations during World War II. Code Talkers also served in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. This lecture is free and open to the public; no reservations are required.
