Charis Center for the Arts presents the work of visual artist Gary Jimerfield, local photographer and owner of Double D Pictures. Jimerfield works with miniature and three-dimensional abstracts using the computer, along with a cut-out technique that explores the use of color and form. Some of his photographs are part of the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Museum of American History. He frequently works in collaboration with artists Scott Grant and Rob Grant. A reception for the opening of this show is scheduled for October 12, 2011.
