Family 'Lotto Roulette' Game Wins $50K For Prince George's Resident

A Prince George's woman won $50K on a lotto ticket that was part of her family's Lotto Roulette game, lottery officials said.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD โ€” A friendly game of Lotto Roulette played by a Maryland family ended up netting $50,000 for a Prince George's woman.

Each person attending the family gatherings brings a Maryland Lottery scratch-off or draw game ticket. The tickets go into a pile and each of the adult family members at the gathering pick a lotto ticket to play.

One family member bought a $10 Powerball quick-pick ticket for that latest family game at Riggs Grocery, located at 5405 Kenilworth Avenue in Riverdale. A lucky Prince Georgeโ€™s County member of the family selected that ticket during the game and later discovered Lottery luck had come her way. She was one of two Marylanders to win a $50,000 third-tier prize in the drawing.
