Fatal Domestic Incident Being Investigated In Prince George's: Police

Prince George's Police is investigating a fatal domestic incident that claimed two people's lives and injured two others.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit continues to actively investigate a fatal domestic-related incident that unfolded at a home in Clinton Sunday morning.

Monique Duncan, 42, and Maurice Moore, 42, were pronounced dead on the scene. Both lived in the home and were in a relationship.

According to the police department, on Jan. 1 at approximately 6 a.m., officers responded to the home located in the 2500 block of Lazy Acres Road. Two other individuals, one a juvenile and one an adult, suffered what have been determined to be non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. They have been hospitalized and are in stable condition.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has determined Duncan died from gunshot wounds. Moore died from a stab wound. All four people involved in the domestic-related incident were known to each other. Detectives are now working to determine the circumstances of this incident.
