It’s an annual holiday season nightmare: a day off from school that you didn’t plan for.

You’re not a bad parent, you just didn’t have this handy calendar.

With the holidays almost here, we’ve collected the last need-to-know dates of 2015 to get you to the other side of the winter break.

Nov. 25-27: Thanksgiving (system-wide holiday)

Dec. 9: Two-hour early dismissal for professional development

Dec. 23 - Dec. 31: Winter break (system-wide holiday); schools and offices closed

Jan. 1: Winter Break* – New Year’s Holiday – Schools and offices Closed

Monday, Jan. 4: Return to school.
