Flash Flood Warning in Effect for Prince George's County
A flash flood warning is in effect for the area until 7:30 p.m.
The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for Prince George's and the entire D.C. and Baltimore region, until 7:30 p.m.
The NWS is warning drivers about roadway conditions and said to avoid areas of the road with standing water, as it could be deeper than expected. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles, so it's advised that drivers turn around rather than trying to brave the waters.
