Forestville HS Teacher Charged With Sexual Abuse of Student
Teacher Vincent McDuffie of Upper Marlboro has reportedly admitted to sexual contact with a 17-year-old girl at Forestville High School.
UPPER MARLBORO, MD — A teacher at Forestville High School has been arrested for sexually abusing a girl on school grounds, authorities said, and he will be fired as a teacher.
Prince George's County Police arrested Vincent McDuffie, 45, of the 10000 block of Campus Way South in Upper Marlboro on Thursday.
He has reportedly admitted his involvement with a then 17-year-old female student at the Forestville school, police said.

The student told investigators that several times in March and April, McDuffie had sexual contact with her on school grounds during the school day.
McDuffie is charged with sex abuse of a minor.

The Prince George's County Public Schools administration issued this statement Friday afternoon on McDuffie's arrest:
"Prince George's County Public Schools is aware of the arrest of a Forestville High School teacher on Thursday. We will cooperate fully with law enforcement in its investigation. Based upon the admission made by the teacher to the police, we have placed him on leave without pay and will immediately seek his termination. Any behavior that brings harm to a student will not be tolerated in any way in PGCPS. We remain keenly focused on our commitment to ensuring a quality education in a safe environment for the children of PGCPS."
