Fort Washington Man Killed In Crash With Tractor-Trailer: Prince George's County Police

A Fort Washington man was killed in a collision with a tractor-trailer in Oxon Hill, according to the Prince George's Police.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 40-year-old Fort Washington man was fatally killed in a collision with a semi Friday in Oxon Hill.

On May 12 shortly before 4 a.m., Prince George's police officers responded to a crash involving a tractor-trailer and a vehicle driven by Evan Heyward in the 6200 block of Oxon Hill Road, according to the Prince George's County Police Department.

A preliminary investigation shows Heyward was traveling eastbound on Oxon Hill Road when his car collided with a tractor-trailer making a left turn onto Oxon Hill Road from a shopping center. Heyward was taken to the hospital where he died of his injuries. The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured and remained at the scene, the police department reported.
