Free FAFSA Workshops Coming to Prince George's County

The sessions will assist parents and students in completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid form.

Prince George’s County Public Schools Professional School Counselors and staff from the Office of College Readiness have joined to host four regional FAFSA work sessions that will help parents and students complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid form.

The workshops are for parents and for those planning to invest in a college education, and are open to both PGCPS students and members of the community.

Three other seminars will be available following the kick-off session at Central High School on Jan. 11. All sessions begin at 6:30 p.m.:

  • Tuesday, Jan. 12 at Northwestern HS, 7000 Adelphi Road, Hyattsville
  • Wednesday, Jan. 13 at Oxon Hill HS, 6701 Leyte Drive, Oxon Hill
  • Thursday, Feb. 11 at Largo HS, 505 Largo Road, Upper Marlboro

To complete a FAFSA form, attendees must bring the following documents: W2 forms, Social Security numbers for both student and parent, and tax documents from 2014 or their last pay stub of 2015.
