Girlfriend Hits, Kills Boyfriend With Car: Prince George's Police

A woman hit and killed her boyfriend with a car, police say. She now faces vehicular manslaughter charges, police say.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 38-year-old Brandywine woman has been charged with vehicular manslaughter after police say she hit and killed her boyfriend with a car Saturday.

According to the Prince George's Police Department, officers found 40-year-old Shamatto Clarke of Riverdale trapped underneath a car outside a home located in the 6100 block of Floral Park Road at about 8:45 p.m. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

A preliminary investigation suggests Udele Burno intentionally struck the victim with her car, causing fatal injuries. She has been charged with vehicular manslaughter, according to the police department.
