GoFundMe Created For Teen Shooting Victim's Family In Unsolved Case
A GoFundMe will help the family of Kevin Ruiz Campos, 16, pay for his funeral and memorial services. His shooting death remains unsolved.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A GoFundMe has been created for the family of 16-year-old Kevin Ruiz Campos of Silver Spring who was fatally shot June 14 in the Langley Park area.
Prince George's County police officers were called to an apartment building in the 7900 block of Riggs Road for a shooting. They found Campos in the parking lot with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene. A man also was shot and taken to the hospital.
Campos leaves behind his brother, mom, friends and family who are all grieving his loss. Any money donated through the GoFundMe will go directly to his mother to cover his funeral and memorial services.
